Turkey Lettuce Wrap

Simple, protein-dense turkey lettuce wraps made with crisp cucumber or pickles and wrapped in fresh lettuce. These wraps are easy on digestion, blood-sugar stable, and ideal for travel days, busy afternoons, or light lunches when energy matters.

Ingredients

  • 4 –6 slices high-quality turkey breast nitrate-free, minimally processed
  • ½ cup thinly sliced cucumber or dill pickles
  • 4 –6 large butter lettuce or romaine leaves
  • Optional: 1 tsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt and black pepper

Instructions

  • Lay lettuce leaves flat on a clean surface.
  • Place 1 slice of turkey on each lettuce leaf.
  • Add a few cucumber slices or pickles on top of the turkey.
  • Drizzle lightly with olive oil if using and season gently with salt and pepper.
  • Roll the lettuce tightly around the filling.
  • Store wraps in a zip-top bag or airtight container until ready to eat.

Notes

  • Choose turkey with no added sugars, nitrates, or artificial preservatives for best results.
    Butter lettuce offers a softer wrap; romaine provides more crunch and structure.
    These wraps hold up well for several hours when kept cool.
