Turkey Lettuce Wrap
Simple, protein-dense turkey lettuce wraps made with crisp cucumber or pickles and wrapped in fresh lettuce. These wraps are easy on digestion, blood-sugar stable, and ideal for travel days, busy afternoons, or light lunches when energy matters.
Ingredients
- 4 –6 slices high-quality turkey breast nitrate-free, minimally processed
- ½ cup thinly sliced cucumber or dill pickles
- 4 –6 large butter lettuce or romaine leaves
- Optional: 1 tsp olive oil or avocado oil
- Optional: pinch of sea salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Lay lettuce leaves flat on a clean surface.
- Place 1 slice of turkey on each lettuce leaf.
- Add a few cucumber slices or pickles on top of the turkey.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil if using and season gently with salt and pepper.
- Roll the lettuce tightly around the filling.
- Store wraps in a zip-top bag or airtight container until ready to eat.
Notes
- Choose turkey with no added sugars, nitrates, or artificial preservatives for best results.
Butter lettuce offers a softer wrap; romaine provides more crunch and structure.
These wraps hold up well for several hours when kept cool.
